Lynn began her career in Canada in 1978 and graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH). From 1979 until 1988, Lynn was the Clinical Director and primary instructor at CCMH. During that time, Lynn developed the Lynn Wind Method of Integrated Medical Massage Therapy, a unique assessment and treatment program incorporating specialized soft-tissue techniques, joint and myofascial mobilizations and rehabilitative exercises.
From 1988 to June 2010, Lynn co-owned HISM with her late husband, Peter Wind. It was an extraordinary adventure in which they teamed together to create an outstanding world-class medical massage curriculum and school. They graduated hundreds of students who are now successfully practicing in many countries all over the world. During that time, Lynn created comprehensive manuals for each of the treatment modules which are a treasure of knowledge of Medical Massage Therapy. They spent over two decades refining the curriculum into an innovative link between scientific soft tissue rehabilitation and intuitive holistic health care. HISM provided a nurturing environment in which this knowledge could unfold in balance with spirit and intellect, allowing massage graduates to begin their career at the highest level of proficiency.
In 2010 to present, Lynn became involved with the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage as part of their teaching team. Lynn introduced one day, two day and three-day advanced course programs for their school as part of the curriculum, as well as for licensed therapists.
2010 to present, training therapists in various spas, advanced and signature treatments.
